Watauga Gun Club’s Mountaineer Classic

The IDPA Mountaineer Classic, held in Boone, NC was a “no frills  match”. No eye candy… nothing to get excited about.  But, as I got prepped to shoot the first stage, I realized that this was going to be a “shooter’s match”.  Tight shots, long shots and yes, tight long shots.  Swinging and disappearing targets too.  Mark and his crew did an outstanding job in course design. I’m pleased to say that I won the CDP division.

If you want to challenge yourself, next year put the Watauga Gun Club‘s Mountaineer Classic, Boone, NC on your shooting schedule.
